You could probably get the same results with coat hanger wire if you could get it to connect up with all those tiny connections. A HDMI cable at one of the electronic retailers could cost over a hundred bucks. I don't know what it cost to make these cables but it certainly isn't any where near that. I looked up on Ebay and found a six foot HDMI cable made in the USA for mere $2.74 with free shipping! Most of these retailers know you aren't going to go home with your new fifty inch TV and wait for your HDMI cable to arrive in the mail. With some planning ahead you can save really big.
